McDonald Center for Student Well-Being
The McDonald Center for Student Well-Being enhances student flourishing and embeds holistic well-being into every aspect of student life. Through health promotion, harm reduction, prevention education, and the cultivation of student leaders in well-being, the McDonald Center empowers all students to make healthy choices while inspiring a campus community to create a culture of well-being.
The McDonald Center is open Monday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. throughout the academic year. When classes are not in session, the McDonald Center closes at 5:00 p.m. Hours may also vary during University holidays and breaks.
Resources
The McDonald Center helps students build the skills they need to thrive. From creating everyday mindfulness practices to identifying ways to decrease risks related to current behaviors, the McDonald Center provides resources to improve students’ quality of life and help them to flourish at Notre Dame and beyond.
Student Involvement
The work of the McDonald Center is driven by students who are empowered to live healthier lives, build stronger relationships, and engage with their peers about the benefits of well-being. The McDonald Center offers a variety of opportunities for students to get involved and also gain valuable experience in promoting and supporting well-being throughout campus.
Staff
The McDonald Center is staffed by a team of wellness professionals dedicated to promoting healthy decision-making among students and fostering a community of care.

The McDonald Center is located on the second floor of Saint Liam Hall, which is northeast of the Main Building. There is elevator access to the second floor through the entrance on the east side of the building (facing Stanford Hall).
