The Binge Thinking program contains content that addresses the effects of alcohol use and misuse, including its impact on cognition, academic success, personal relationships, and personal safety.

Completing Binge Thinking

To complete Binge Thinking, students will first need a NetID to login to their Notre Dame Gmail account. To ensure the training runs smoothly, please be sure and use a recent version of Google Chrome. Any pending updates to the browser may need to be installed before the training can begin.

After logging into an ND email account, students can access the course through the email invitation from Binge Thinking or the link provided here.

Upon logging into Binge Thinking, please make sure YOUR name appears at the top of this dashboard. If it does not, please contact CatharsisOnlineTraining@catharsisproductions.com for assistance.

The program should take 30-45 minutes to complete. You must complete the entire program to receive credit for completion.

If you exit the program midway, you should be able to pick up where you left off. However, if you have cleared your cache, changed browsers, or switched devices before your return, you will be required to start the program over.

All individual answers are held in the strictest confidence, and survey results are not reported in a manner that can identify individuals.

If, for any reason, you are uncomfortable or concerned about the content, please contact mcdonaldcenter@nd.edu, and we can arrange for you to receive this required information in an alternative format.
